school pictures

Boy, when Tomás makes up his mind about something there is no changing it. Case in point, picture day at school. I bought him a nice new shirt just for his first grade picture. He willingly put it on the morning of pictures but turns out he didn't like it. Never said anything to me, just put his jacket on and went off to school. But at school he wouldn't take off his jacket, didn't want to have his picture taken, and when he finally agreed he refused to smile. It was so bad that the teacher called me at lunch time to let me know we should plan on retaking it in a few weeks.
When the proofs came in all I could do was laugh. We're hoping the retakes look a little better!
