a visit from the Toothfairy tonight...

I wasn't ready but Tomás lost his first tooth tonight. He was all ready for bed and we were finishing up his jaw exercises ( he had speech today and he had some homework ). Next thing I know he's yelling that there was blood. Quickly we ran to turn on the light, at first I thought something was terribly wrong - then looked at his mouth and his front tooth was gone! No warning - no loose wiggly tooth - it was just time but I felt terrible for rushing it along. Then I realized his first tooth was gone! The one that came in on 10/21/2003 at 6 months of age GONE!
I couldn't stop crying - He's all excited about the toothfairy leaving him money. More teeth to follow.........
